AS2 Protocol

ConnectPlaza® brings full AS2 support straight into the powerful platform. With this groundbreaking feature, we supply you with all tools needed to transport your structured business-to-business data securely and reliably over the Internet.

By making AS2 a standard, we enable a cost-effective exchange of messages. Having smooth and reliable connections is no longer a challenging, complex and time-consuming process when using ConnectPlaza®

With our standard AS2 components, which you can drag and drop into flows, ConnectPlaza® completely simplifies all EDI connections with ERP and trading partners.

How we enable you

We have implemented the AS2 protocol by delivering three building blocks to help you build integration flows that either need to connect to AS2 servers or it allows you to set up your own AS2 server for others to connect.

To connect to AS2 servers, we have implemented a Producer, that can send data over AS2 asynchronously and a Service that can send data synchronously and receive an MDN synchronously as well.

Additionally, we have added a Consumer that can act as an AS2 server and receive AS2 messages from external partners and send back an MDN.

AS2 is a universal protocol that provides many benefits, from both business and technology vantage points. For many businesses, the use of AS2 and EDI is a requirement for doing business with a large customer or partner.

Essentially all businesses that have a need to integrate with other businesses, partners, suppliers or customers can use EDI to automate these processes. ConnectPlaza® supports all kinds of organizations, including small to medium enterprises and ISV's.
